Agricultural College and Research Institute is situated in Killikulam, Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu state of India. It was established in 1984 as the third constituent agricultural college of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. (TNAU).

Admission for B.Sc Agriculture is given the basis of ranking procedure on aggregate marks. Aggregate Mark is calculated as follows:
Aggregate Mark = Sum of ((marks obtained in each subject /maximum mark for that subject) X 50) all the four subjects considered.
In cases where more than one student has got the same aggregate marks in the common merit list, the inter se merit among such students shall be determined in the order of priority as specified below:
- Marks out of 50 in Mathematics. If a student has not studied Mathematics marks out of 50 in Biology or (Botany + Zoology)
- Marks out of 50 in Physics
- Marks out of 50 in Chemistry
- Date of Birth – Eldest first

ACIR Killikulam M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates who have completed an undergraduate degree program in B.Sc Ag and awarded by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply for Masters program.
- A candidate who has undergone a course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 6.60 out of 10.00 in Bachelor’s Degree Programme can apply for Masters Programme. However, for SC/ST candidates, a minimum OGPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 in bachelor’s degree is sufficient.
ACIR Killikulam M.Sc. Selection Criteria
For all Master's programs, selection criteria are based on the score obtained in the test conducted by the university.
- Candidates are required to be present on the specified date for a written test conducted at TNAU, Coimbatore at their expenses.
- The exact date of the written test will be published on the University website and intimated to the candidate through email.
- Written tests with Multiple choice questions from the respective subjects will be for one hour fifteen minutes duration. Candidates applied for two subjects should write the examination for both the subjects continuously for two and a half hours.

- Complete the candidate Registration form to receive your user ID and password in YOUR registered personal mobile and email.
- Note down the User ID and Password sent to your registered mobile and e-mail.
- Click on the “Proceed to Application” button.
- Complete Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, and Step 4 of the online application. Enter your preferences for degree and college in Step 4. For M.Sc, a candidate can have only one application with a maximum of two subject preferences.
- Complete the online payment using an e-payment link (available in Step 4 of online application).
- Fee for the UG course is INR. 600/- (INR. 300/- for SC / SCA / ST Candidates).
- Non–refundable Application fee of INR.1500 per subject and 3000 for 2 subjects (INR.1000 per subject and 2000 for 2 subjects for SC/SCA/ST) should be paid.
- Login again with your user ID and password to download and print the Joint Declaration Form and Appendices / Checklist.
