Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture (AIOA) is one of the many schools of the renowned Amity University, Noida. The institute was established in 2005. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various Agriculture specializations. The courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by UGC, New Delhi.

Currently, Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture offers a B.Sc. program in Agriculture and Food Business at undergraduate level, M.Sc. in Organic Food Production and Certification and MBA in Agriculture and Food Business at postgraduate level, and Ph.D. in Organic Agriculture at doctoral level.

Candidates who are eligible for scholarships can apply for Direct Admission/ Fast Track Admission.
Such candidates are exempted from having to undergo the admission selection process.
Application fee for all courses is INR 1100.
Candidates paying the application fee via demand draft must draw the same favoring ‘Amity Form’, payable at New Delhi.
Candidates using downloaded / ICR Application Form must fill up the same in their own handwriting in black ink and undertaking is to be signed by them only.
Candidates applying for PG Scholarships must ensure that there has been no age gap between class XII and Graduation.
Only those candidates who have appeared in CBSE / ISC Examination are eligible for the scholarships as per the prescribed percentages of marks.
International candidates are required to have cleared TOEFL with 213 in CBT or 550 in paper based test or can have a band of 6.5 in IELTS.
MBA candidates can apply through any of GMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CAT scores.
Student securing 80% and above marks in in Class XII are exempted from selection process.
Candidates applying through Sports Scholarships are selected through Sports Trial and Interview.

Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture, Noida B.Sc Admission 2023

At undergraduate level, Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture offers a B.Sc. in Agriculture and Food Business. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc. program is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as the main subjects. Candidates with Agriculture as a subject at 10+2 level are also eligible.

The program further requires a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2, English Language Test (conducted by the institute) and Interview.

Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture offers M.Sc. in Organic Food Production and Certification and MBA in Agriculture and Food Business at postgraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Biotech/ Food and Life Sciences/ any other allied area with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Selection of candidates is done on the basis of CET score or marks obtained in Amity Written Test and personal interview. CETs accepted for MBA admissions include CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GMAT.

Key Points:

The minimum cutoffs for CET score is as follows:
- MAT score – 500
- CAT/ XAT score – 75 percentile
- NMAT score – 60 percentile
- GMAT score – 500
- Sponsored category candidates are allowed a relaxation of 50 marks in MAT/ GMAT score and 10% marks in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT.

Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture, Noida Ph.D. Admission 2023

The Institute offers a Ph.D. program in Organic Agriculture at doctoral level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D. program is a Master’s degree in Agriculture or allied subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Selection of candidates is based on the candidates’ performance in entrance test (conducted at institute level) and interview.

Prospective applicants may download the application form from the institute website or walk into the Amity campus and obtain the application form in person. Application fee for Ph.D. can be paid via demand draft. Candidates must also submit a research proposal along with the necessary enclosures for the Ph.D. program.

The application forms for any of the courses offered by Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture can be obtained through the following modes:

Can be filled and submitted online

After obtaining the application form/ visiting the institute website for online application, the following steps must be followed:

Candidates must keep a scanned copy of their passport size photograph handy before proceeding with filling the application form online.
Candidates opting for offline submissions can paste the photograph before submitting.
Scanned copies of the Class X mark sheet, class XII mark sheet, and degree (as applicable) will also be required prior to filling the application form online.
Candidates filling the applications offline can attached self-attested photocopies of the same.
Candidates must fill all the relevant columns in the application form carefully.
Incomplete applications or applications without proper documents will not be considered for admission.
Applicant must enter only his latest email id and contact number as all subsequent correspondence made by the institute with the student is through SMS and emails.
An Application Form number and password is generated on submission of the application form.
Offline candidates can find the application number and password printed on the first page of the application form.
The application number and password can be used to login to the site in order to :
1. Check whether the application form has been received or not
2. Check the status of the submitted application
3. Download Admit Card
4. Select the date for appearing in the selection procedure
5. Check his/ her selection status
6. Print admission letter after selection
The application fee can be paid online using credit/ debit card or net banking. Offline candidates can send a demand draft for the prescribed application fee to the institute.
Candidates applying through offline mode must send the complete application form, along with copies of all relevant documents and DD, to the institute campus so as to reach on or before the prescribed last date.
It is advisable for the online candidates to preserve a copy of the complete application form for future correspondence.
