Candidates applying for the B.A. and B.Com. General courses should who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12^th) from a recognized board with at least four compulsory subjects including English and minimum aggregate marks of 55%. (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates)

Birpara College Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply for all the courses through the online admission portal provided in the college website.
After reading all the instructions, a candidate needs to fill in all the required details and submit the form.
An application fee varies from course to course and also depends on the combination chosen by the candidate. It can be paid online through Credit/Debit card or Net Banking option.
Finally, a confirmation along with the filled-in application form is generated. Candidates need to take a printout of this form for future purposes.
Shortlisted candidates are intimated via email and mobile message.

Birpara College Reservation Criteria

The reservation criteria are according to the rules of NBU.
Generally, seats are reserved for the categories of OBC, SC and ST.
A relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks is given for reserved category candidates.

Birpara College Scholarship

A number of scholarships and aids are provided to students at the Birpara College.
Government scholarships are available for students belong to the SC and ST categories.
A national scholarship is given to meritorious candidates.
A free studentship is given to the financially backward students and is limited to a certain number of the total student strength.
Students already availing the SC/ST stipend are not entitled to the studentships.
A student needs to apply though the Principal to avail any of the stipends and scholarships.
