Cauvery College for Women UG Eligibility Criteria

• A pass in the Higher Secondary.
• Any other examination conducted by the State Government or any other statutory board after 12 Years of study and recognized as equivalent to the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu
• Students from outside Tamil Nadu can be considered for admission, only if they produce an Eligibility Certificate from Bharathidasan University.
• Students from outside India can be considered for admission only if they get the clearance from the Bharathidasan University and also if they have Students Visa or Provisional Students Visas endorsed on their passports.

Under the PG domain, Cauvery College offers a Master of Arts and Master of Science programs in different specializations.

Admission to all the PG courses is done on the basis of the merit secured in the last qualifying exam followed by a personal interview.

PG Degree in the related discipline with 55% marks is the desired eligibility criteria for application. Students have to qualify in university-based written Tests and interviews to secure admission in these courses.

Selection Criteria

Written Test conducted by Bharathidasan University followed by an interview and marks in PG degree.

Note- Candidates who have qualified any national level entrance exam viz. UGC NET/ CSIR NET etc OR candidates working in the sponsored research projects/teacher candidates are exempted from Entrance Examination.

• Admission to all the UG courses is done on the basis of personal interviews
• Applicants must take sufficient numbers of attested copies of their Higher Secondary Marksheet & Transfer Certificate before surrendering them to the College Office. After admission, the Original Transfer Certificate will not be issued, under any circumstances.
