College of Dental Sciences (CODS) Davanagere Admission 2024, Courses, Fees, Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates to BDS program offered by College of Dental Sciences will be through COMEDK/KCET which will be followed by counselling.

The minimum eligibility to apply in this program is 50% aggregate in Karnataka II PUC Examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages. College has an intake of 100 students to BDS program.

Key Points:

• Candidates who have completed 17 years of age as on the December 31 on the year of admission are eligible to apply in BDS program.
• The applicant must appear in COMEDK UGET or KCET to apply in the BDS program of the Institute.
• Applicant must get the eligible certificate by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka before taking admission.

Selection of candidates to nine disciplines in MDS program offered by CODS will be through COMEDK/PGET which will be followed by counselling. The minimum eligibility to apply is to have BDS from associate University recognized by Dental Council of India. It has a total intake of 47 students in different specializations.

Key Points for MDS Admission:

• Minimum age limit to apply in MDS is 21-year.
• Candidates having permanent registration from the state dental council are eligible for the program.
• Candidates having 2-year PG Diploma recognized by Dental Council of India are also eligible to apply for MDS program.

To be eligible to apply for Ph.D. programs offered by College of Dental Sciences (CODS) applicants must have a postgraduate degree in relevant field. Final selection of candidates will be based on entrance test conducted by the RGUHS. 

Note: Entrance test for Ph.D. will be conducted on July 30.
