Government Dental College and Research Institute, Bangalore Admission 2024: UG & PG Admission, Eligibility, Cut Off, Fees

Government Dental College and Research Institute offers full-time Bachelor in Dental Science (BDS) course with the total intake of 60 seats. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board are eligible to get admission in BDS.

Selection of the candidates is done as per the regulations of RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Human Science) on the basis of their merit in 10+2.

Key points:

• Candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year.
• Candidates of reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC) shall have obtained minimum 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together to become eligible to apply for admission to BDS course.
• Applicants who have passed B.Sc course with at least two of these subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are also considered eligible to get admission to BDS course.

Candidates who have completed Graduation in Dental Science from a recognized University are eligible to apply for admission to MDS course.

Candidates who have qualified NEET MDS are given admission into MDS course based on their merit.

Key points:

• Applicants must be an Indian National/ Person of Indian Origin/ Overseas Citizen of India who holds a BDS degree from a Government of India recognized Dental College.
• Candidates who have completed BDS degree on or before 1988 are not bound to complete the 1 year of compulsory rotational internship.
