Aspirants seeking admission to 4 Year Full-time BDS Program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ Council or University and must have obtained at least 50% (40% for ST/SC or OBC) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together and must have passed in English.
Candidates who have passed the B.Sc degree (three year course) examination of the universities recognized by the UGC as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biochemistry main and any one or two of the above subjects as subsidiaries are also eligible for admission, provided they have secured not less than 50% marks for the main and subsidiary subjects taken together subjects to the relaxation in the marks provided in clause (a) for scheduled castes/scheduled tribes and socially and educationally backward classes and on condition that they have passed the pre-degree examination of the UGC recognize Universities with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or any examination approved by those Universities as equivalent to the pre-degree.
Selection Process
There shall be a uniform NEET for admission to the under-graduate dental courses in each academic year conducted in the manner, as prescribed by the National Board of Examination or any other authority appointed by the Central Government in this behalf. The overall superintendence, direction and control of the NEET shall vest with the Council.
At the time of admission the candidate should bring a certificate regarding the physical standards / fitness obtained from a Medical Officer in Govt. service not below the rank of an Assistant Medical Officer.
