- The age of the candidates cannot be more than 22 years as on 1st July of every academic year. For the reserved classes such as SC/ST the upper age limit is 25 years as on 1st July of every academic year.

Admission to the B.Sc program is purely based on the rules of the governing body, i.e. the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates need to sit for an entrance exam (NCHMCT-JEE) followed by a counselling session if selected, where they will be allotted with colleges on the basis of merit-cum-choice.
To fill up the application for NCHMCT-JEE, the candidates need to follow the following steps:
- Candidates first need to visit the official website of NCHMCT (www.nchmct.org) to register for the entrance.
- Then they need to fill up the required details. Once registered, an application number with a password will be generated.
- Login to the account using the application number and password.
- Then they are required to fill up the form with necessary details and scanned images of their signature and a formal passport size photograph. All the scanned images should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format.
- Pay the application fee online INR 900 (INR 800 for EWS and INR 450 ftor SC/ST/ PWD/ Transgender) using Debit card/Credit card/ Net Banking to complete the process.
- After completing the process, download the form and get a print-out of it.
