Devaswom Board Pampa College, Parumala was established in 1968 by Travancore Dewaswon Board and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. It offers quality higher education to the students in and around Mannar and the nearby areas in various taluks of Aalappuzha and present Pathanamthitta districts. Extracurricular Activities
- National Cadet Corps: Two wings of the NCC are functioning in the College. viz. Army Wing and Naval Wing
- National Service Scheme: Many activities like Diabetic counseling, Independence Day celebrations, Cleaning Programes, Malala Day, Legal awareness classes, Career Guidance classes, Seven days camp etc. were organized by N.S.S.
- Red Ribbon Club: The club organizes awareness camps on AIDS at regular intervals in village areas. The volunteers engage themselves distributing pamphlets regarding AIDS and the way of living

Onam Fest: Onam fest of DB Pampa College for the year 2014-15 was organized by NSS and Vanithavedi on 5th September, 2014. Atthappokkalam contest, Maveli contest and various other programmes like Thiruvathira, Vanchippattu, Onappattu, were the highlights
Scholarships
- National Loan Scholarship: Rs.6000/ and Rs.7200/- per annum for the entire course. Minimum marks required for consideration for the award is 50% Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 25,000
- Kerala State Scholarship: Minimum amount of award is Rs.400/- which need not be refunded if the course is satisfactorily completed. Minimum marks required for consideration of the award is 50% and maximum limit of annual family income is Rs.6000
- Physically Handicapped Students Scholarship: The Director of Social welfare, Trivandrum shall award the scholarship. The physically handicapped who have secured minimum 45% marks for the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the scholarship
- Merit Scholarship to the children of School Teachers: Minimum marks 60%. No refund need be affected provided the course is completed satisfactorily
- Fisheries Scholarship: Children of fishermen are eligible to be considered for the award of this Scholarship
- Post Matric Scholarship: The Govt. of Kerala shall award the scholarship for students belonging to the minority communities. The annual family income from all sources of the student’s parents or guardian should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakh
