Bapuji Pharmacy College was established in 1992 in Devangere, Karnataka by Bapuji Educational Association. Later, BEA School of Pharmacy, established in 1977, was merged with the college. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The college offers various courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences which are D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharm level.

For admission to D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Pharm.D courses, candidates must have passed two-year Pre- University Course (PUC) examination of Karnataka PUC Board (10+2) or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university, in any combination comprising Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/ Biology as optional subject. Minimum qualifying marks in PUC examinations is minimum 40% in aggregate.
Candidates who have completed three–year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are also eligible to apply for B.Pharm and Pharm.D courses. In case of applicants holding B.Sc degree, they must have studied Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects at graduation level.
Admissions to D.Pharm will be merit-based. For Bachelors and Post Baccalaureate courses in Pharmacy, the admission will be done through counselling based on applicant’s rank in state level entrance test- Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).

Key Points:
The minimum educational qualification required for admission to M.Pharm is Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from any recognized university in India with minimum 55% marks (aggregate of all semesters/ years). For SC/ ST candidates, the college offers relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Admission will be done through counselling based on candidate’s scores in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
