Hindu College of Pharmacy, Sonepat Admission 2024: Fees Structure, Review, Ranking, Entrance Exam

The institute offers a regular 2 year course in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) affiliated to Haryana State Technical Education Society, Panchkula, Haryana.

The basic admission criteria is a minimum qualification of 35% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology from any recognized university.

The final selection will be on the basis of the merit list prepared by the University on the basis of Senior Secondary marks.

Key Points:

• Candidates having done one year of the 3-year Degree course in Science can also apply to the above program.
• In case of tie in the merit list, the tie-breaking criteria will be in the order of marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics and English.

The institute provides a regular 4-year Degree program in Bachelors in Pharmacy (B Pharm).

The minimum qualification required is a pass marks in 12th standard from a recognized Board from any state in India. Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology to be as compulsory subjects.

There is no entrance exam conducted. The only selection process is based on merit of Senior Secondary education.

• Minimum age of the candidate at the time of admission should be 17 years.
• Admission through lateral entry is also possible for 2nd year B.Pharm, provided a candidate has a D.Pharm certificate from an institution approved by  the Pharmacy  Council  of  India under  section 12 of  the Pharmacy  Act.
• The approved seat intake for B.Pharm is 60 and for B.Pharm (LEET) is 18.
• The application fee is INR 200
• Selected candidates require to submit positive medical certificate. Failing which, will lead to admission cancellation.

The institute offers a regular 2 year post graduate Degree in Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The minimum qualification required is 55% marks aggregate in B.Pharm.

The selection will be based on the scores obtained in GPAT exam. If there are any vacant seats remaining then candidates with non- GPAT score shall also apply strictly based on merit obtained in B.Pharm.

• 5% relaxation in minimum marks required for SC and OBC category candidates.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age at the time of admission.
