Oriental College of Pharmacy, Bhopal Admission 2024: Courses, Application Process, Eligibility, Fees

At UG level, Bachelor of Pharmacy with 120 seats is offered to the aspirants by Oriental College of Pharmacy. Selection of eligible candidates in B.Pharm/ B.Pharm LTE courses is done based on score in MP-PPhT (Madhya Pradesh Pre-Pharmacy Test) conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MP-PEB).

Those who have passed HSC/ 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects with not less than 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates of MP State only) are eligible for admission to B.Pharm course. For B.Pharm LTE applicant must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates).

Key Points:

• MP-PPhT is a state level offline test of 3-hour with no negative marking. This test is of 200 marks.
• Candidates applying for admission must be an Indian National.
• The age limit of the applicants must be between 17 to 32-year.
• Those who qualify the MP-PPhT and have their name listed in the merit list must attend the DTE, Madhya Pradesh Counselling Process for the allotment of seat.

Oriental College of Pharmacy runs M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and   Quality Assurance specializations. Total intake is 24 in Pharmaceutics and 18 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Quality Assurance.

 Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Pharmacy or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institute with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible for admission. Selection of the candidates is done based on their valid GPAT score.

Note: GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is an online national level examination of 3-hour conducted by AICTE, New Delhi.
