Saroj Institute of Management and Technology Admission 2024: Fees Structure, Placement, Entrance Exam, Notification

Saroj Institute of Management and Technology offers B.Tech and B.Pharm program (Regular as well as Lateral Entry) in various streams. To be eligible for B.Tech program, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized board with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC /ST candidates) in aggregate and 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject.

For B.Pharm program, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination with PCB with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC /ST candidates) in aggregate.

Admission is offered on the basis of UPSEE score. Apart from UPSEE score, a valid rank in JEE Main is also considered for B.Tech while a valid score in GPAT is also considered for B.Pharm program.

Key points:

• As per the norms of the affiliating university, 85% seats will be allotted through UPSEE counselling on the basis of the ranks secured in UPSEE or JEE Main.
• The remaining 15% seats under management quota will be allotted by the college on the basis of merit and criteria decided by the affiliating university.

The institute offers admission to M.Tech and M.Pharm program on the basis of GATE score. The candidates have to secure at least 75 percentile in GATE or must fall in the list of top 25% graduates of UPTU.

Key Points:

• Preference will be given to the candidates who have scored 75 percentile in GATE or first division with honors or, who fall in the list of 25% top graduates in AKTU.
• Preference will also be given to the candidates holding First Division at B. Tech. level with two-year of experience at teaching/research or industry level.

In addition to M.Tech and M.Pharm programs, the institute also offers two postgraduate level courses focusing on the area of Business Administration and Computer Application leading to MBA and MCA degrees.

For admission to the first year of MBA, a candidate must have passed a three-year degree course in any discipline with at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

To get admission in the first year of MCA, the candidates must have passed a three-year degree course in the relevant discipline with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have obtained at least 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Bachelor’s degree level.

Key Points:

• 85% seats are allotted according to the merit of State Entrance Examination (SEE) of UP State through counselling as per the directives of AICTE, state government and affiliating university.
• 15% of total seats are filled on the basis of management quota admission procedure directly by the college as per the guidelines of affiliating university.
• For admission to MBA, candidates holding a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score will be given preference.
