ACCA Eligibility

ACCA Foundations in Accountancy Eligibility

FIA begins at GCSE level (Level 2), or equivalent, and progresses up to the equivalent of the first year of a bachelor's degree (Level 4).

The FIA qualifications include:

• ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (RQF Level 2)
• RQF Level 3
• ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4)
• Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
• The Foundation Diploma.

ACCA Knowledge Level Eligibility

Candidates need to have completed either the AAT Professional Diploma or ACCA Foundation to study Applied Knowledge. If a candidate has any degree-level or equivalent qualifications, might be eligible for exemptions across ACCA examinations at this or other levels.

ACCA Skill Level Eligibility

Students who are a commerce graduates or have completed the ACCA Knowledge level can appear in the ACCA Skill Level.

ACCA Professional Level Eligibility

This is the last level of the ACCA examinations. Candidates after clearing the knowledge and the skill level can appear in ACCA Professional Level.

ACCA Eligibility after CA

Those who have cleared the Final CA exam could be eligible for exemptions from 9 papers out of the 13. After claiming these exemptions, they should be able to clear the remaining ACCA exams in around 6 to 8 months. 

ACCA Eligibility after BCom

Once students have completed graduation degree, then they may be eligible for up to 4 exemptions from 13 ACCA papers. Upon completion of B.Com, they will be entitled to up to four waivers. After completing BBA, theymay be eligible for three exemptions. 

ACCA Eligibility after 12th

According to ACCA's eligibility criteria, students must be at least 18 years old and have completed 10+2 with a total score of 65% in Math/Accounting and English and a total score of at least 50% in all other subjects.

ACCA Eligibility in Different Countries 

The eligibility criteria of ACCA is different for different countries. The eligibility criteria for ACCA in different countries are as follows: 

ACCA Eligibility in Pakistan

• 2 passes at GCE/VCE A Level plus 3 passes at GCSE/Vocational GCSE/GCE O Level in 5 separate subjects including English and Mathematics.

• Intermediate Examinations/ Higher School Certificate at 50% or above.
• Bachelor Degree (2 years)
• Diploma (issued by boards of Technical Education/Polytechnics)
• Secondary School Certificate (SSC) / Matriculation

ACCA Eligibility in USA

• Grades of 3 and above in at least three subjects with a High School Diploma.
• Matriculation to University (Bachelor or Masters). 
• Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination Diploma 
• CXC Associate Degree.
• High School Graduation Diploma.

ACCA Eligibility in UK

• 2 passes at GCE / VCE A Level + 3 GCSE / Vocational GCSE / GCE O Level passes (grades 9-4 / A-C in five separate subjects including Mathematics and English)
• 2 passes at International GCE / VCE A Level (grades A-E)+ 3 International GCSE / Vocational GCSE / GCE O Level passes (grades 9-4 / A-C) (in five separate subjects including Mathematics & English)
• 1 GCE / VCE A Level pass (grades A-E)+ 2 GCE / VCE AS Level (Supplementary / Subsidiary) passes (grades A-E)+ 3 GCSE / Vocational GCSE / GCE

ACCA Eligibility in Malaysia

• 2 principal passes at STPM, plus 3 credits at SPM (grade C or above in 5 separate subjects, including English/Bahasa Inggeris and Mathematics/Principles of Accounting/ Prinsip Perakaunan)
• Matriculation Certificate 
• A minimum CGPA of 2.50.
• ATAR of at least 70 + 5 credits (grade C or above) SPM 
• ATAR of at least 70 + 5 credits (grade C or above) SPM (in five separate subjects including English/Bahasa Inggeris and Mathematics/Principles of Accounting/Prinsip Perakaunan)
• 2 passes at GCE A Level / Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate [grades A-E]+

3 passes at GCE O Level [grades A-C/9-4]

 ACCA Eligibility in Germany

• Technical college entrance qualification / subject-related university entrance qualification
• Certificate of the General Higher Education Entrance Examination
• Vocational school certificate (2 years less than 3)
• college degree
• Vocational school certificate (middle school certificate) (from 2013) / vocational school certificate (vocational basic education) (from 2013) (3 or more years duration)

Singapore

• 2 passes at Singapore / Cambridge GCE A Level (grades A- E)+ 3 Singapore / Cambridge GCE O Level passes (grades 1-6 / A1-C6) (in five separate subjects including Mathematics & English)
• Matriculation (Bachelor or Masters program) to National University of Singapore.
• Matriculation ((Bachelor or Masters) to Singapore Management University (Bachelor or Masters).
• Matriculation (Bachelor or Masters) to Singapore University of Technology and Design.

What is The ACCA Qualification?

If students have two A Levels and three GCSEs in five separate subjects including English and maths or equivalent qualifications, they can start their studies at the ACCA Qualification, which is ranked at Masters level and on completion they will be considered ACCA member.

To achieve the ACCA Qualification, students must have:

• Complete up to 13 exams
• Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module.
• 3 years of work experience.
• This means that a student can earn ACCA qualification in at least her 3 years.
