BEd Commerce: Admission Procedure

Certain schools enable direct admission to the course based on the student's merit during the 12th exam, and students have to clear an admission test which is carried out by the university/college for admission to some other colleges. The eligibility criteria for BEd Commerce are:

BEd Commerce: Entrance Exams

The students will be notified of the date and day of the entrance examination when the application for admission has been concluded. This examination will be performed to test the student's basic knowledge for admission at the 12th level. Given below are some of the accepted entrance exams for the course

  • RIE CEE: To allow candidates in teaching programs held at Prarambh and Regional Institute of Education (RIEs) in Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore, and Shillong, the NCERT shall conduct a Common Entrance Examination (CEE). The examination takes 120 minutes. For OBC and general candidates, the cost of the application fee is INR 900. The application cost for SC/ST/PWD will be INR 450.
  • IPU CETThe university level is evaluated for admission to the numerous UG and PG courses conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The duration of the entrance examination for the BEd course will be 3 hours. INR 1200 is paid for the application form.
  • CUCETThe Central Universities Common Entrance Test is a nationwide BEd entrance test for the various UG, PG, and PhD programs offered by the 14 central universities. CUCET takes 120 minutes for the BEd entrance. For OBC and general applicants, the cost of the application fee is INR 800. The application fee for SC/ST/PWD should be INR 350.
  • Maharashtra BEd CET: MAH BEd CET  is a state entrance examination for BEd and MEd courses held by the Maharashtra CET cell. The exams last 1 hour and a total of 100 MCQs and take place in online mode in Marathi and English.
  • UP BEd Entrance Exam: UP BEd JEE  is a state-level admission exam organized by the University of Lucknow. The exam lasts three hours and is held offline every year.

BEd Commerce: Distance Education
