Good college for Microbiology

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The admission fee to be paid for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022 was Rs 22810, while the tuition fee per semester is Rs1800, the laboratory deposit is Rs 2000 and the laboratory fee (per semester) is 600. The student gets job availability in the reputation industry and health care sectors after completing the course with good marks from the college.

Campus Life:

The laboratory is well-equipped. The library has approximately 44000 books, newspapers, journals, magazines, and CDs/DVDs available. Various extracurricular activities are available on campus like students participating in singing and dancing competitions.

Views on campus life at ITM (SLS) Baroda University

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I chose this course as it was interesting for me to study and there are lots of opportunities for further studies, research, and in working aspects. 2. Ratio of faculty: Students is proper. 3. At our university, all the faculties are highly qualified, mostly Ph.D. qualified and all the faculties teach very well and all of them are very supportive. 4. As per the schedule we have semester exams and internal exams at the appropriate time and as per subject the difficulty to learn or pass the exam varies.

Campus life at ITM SLS Baroda university was appreciated greatly. Infrastructure and environment are very good at our college. All Classrooms are covered by projectors, and CCTV and has good ventilation, laboratories are good and modified. We have a Library in which we can take help in our academics using Identity, books are available and can be issued when needed.

Experience at ITM (SLS) Baroda University

I choose this course because I found it very interesting and there are lots of opportunities further in this field as per research and working aspects. The faculty ratio is proper and sufficient as compared to the student ratio. Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The teaching method is very supportive and qualified. We have a semester and internal exams and it was regular as per the schedule and the difficulty level was based on the subjects.

Fests like Maniac week, Euphoria, Illuminati, etc. are conducted in the months of December, February & March. Books related to all subjects required for reference are available at the library. All required basic needs along with a projector facility are available in the classrooms. Sports like cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, etc. along with gym are available and in extra curriculum, cultural activities like dancing, singing & drama are there.

I chose the course BSc microbiology (Honors). Here at ITM (SLS) Baroda University, we have excellent and qualified faculty members. The ratio of faculty and students is around 1 faculty per 20 students. We have good interaction with the faculties inside the classroom as well as on campus. We have an interactive teaching system and it helped us with various leadership and team-building qualities.

Life at the campus is beautiful and vibrant. We have a wonderful campus with every facility possible. There are projectors in classrooms, full lab facilities, sports like table tennis, cricket, basketball and volleyball grounds, libraries, canteens, and various other amenities. There are many fests, extracurricular activities, clubs and sports games organised throughout the year.

College provide better future

I was interested in research work so I choose the subject of microbiology. The faculty is helpful supportive and friendly. All the faculty members are highly qualified in their subjects. All teachers teach us well and also give us a lot of knowledge regarding industries and new technology. There is no difficulty to pass out exam if you study sincerely and with proper knowledge and understanding u will definitely pass.

The annual fest includes the Illuminati range and many more different activities we have in that students can participate and win a cash prize. The library is nice you can go there to get books. Amenities in the classroom are quite good I can say but there is no network in class. Sports activities also give us lectures. They also have different clubs for different activities.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester students are eligible for placement. We visited zytex, and Bharat parental, companies and were able to know the application of the knowledge. 85 % of students of ITMBU are getting placements. After getting the bachelor's degree I m going to apply for a master's and for further research programs.

Here for BSc course fee is 30000 and it's an affordable amount for students. And university supports students if they face any kind of financial issues in paying fees. Here scholarships to different castes are also allotted like SC ST OBC caste and many other portals are valid here for applying.

I selected this course bsc. Microbiology because I was interested in it. Faculties teaching is very well and they are teaching in a practical manner so a student can easily understand. They are conducting a total of 3 exams 2 internal and 1 external and practical exams also conducted including Theory and Performance.

The total semester fee of bsc. Microbiology is 35000, So easily one should afford it. And from college, the placement is provided. The scholarship is also available and Financial Assistance is also provided. And the job is given by the college its average packaging is also good.

I choose this course because I was interested in it. Facilities here are well experienced & educated. The teaching methods of the facilities are very unique and very understandable. They are conducting two internal exams one external which includes practice exams also in each semester.

Microbiology is a very recent field in terms of day-to-day life and it is having good scope. Here the faculties are qualified with Ph.D. and their teaching methods are very simple and unique by which each and every student understand the concepts of the particular topics and never faces any kind of problems in terms of preparation. The university conducts 2 internal examinations in which both theory and practicals are conducted and 1 external examination in which practicals are also conducted.

University conducts an Illuminati fest in the month of March. University provides the facility of a library were we can get every book related to our topics and they are having individual libraries for there departments. Conducts sports events and also students get good rewards. Many other events related to student growth are also conducted and successfully executed by University.

The annual tech fest of ITMBU is "ILLUMINATI". It is conducted in the month of March. Different technical events, literati events, and cultural events are organized. In the library reference books related to different subjects are available. Sports day and events are also organized which include Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, and Kabaddi. Different clubs for literature, music, and dance are also there.

I have a keen interest in the microbial world and want to pursue research. The faculties are highly qualified and all the teachers use the chalkboard method for teaching. Weekly presentations are also organized to develop students' skills and build confidence. Generally, 2 internal exams are conducted in a semester with an external exam conducted by the university at the end of the semester.

St Paul's Cathedral Mission College, Microbiology Bsc Hons Course

The course curriculum feels pretty much hectic at times to complete core course papers within 6 months, however, the practicals keep me glued to the subject. This provides me with hands-on experience and exploring the world of invisible beings just under 40X or 100X magnification seems pretty amazing to me. The student-teacher relationship is pretty friendly since we can discuss the most basic problems with our teachers. The teaching staff includes professors and associate professors holding a Phd degree, providing us easiest solutions to the most difficult problems. The examinations include only internals before the Semester exams and the syllabus if covered properly is pretty easy to pass. However, I personally feel more examinations on a monthly basis could be conducted.

With a big field inside the premises, it is almost like a Met Gala during our annual fest NEXUS held in Feb-Mar every year. The biggest library I've come across with access to all journals required for quietly studying for hours and hours on campus. Classrooms especially some labs have smart boards. Football, Badminton, and Cricket are the go-to sports for students along with it table-tennis and carrom are the indoor sporting events.
