GME Admission Process 2023

GME admissions are mostly offered based on the scores of the entrance exam conducted at National or University level which may be followed by a Group Discussion or Personal Interview round. However, there are few institutes offering direct admission based on the scores obtained by a candidate in their graduation. To be eligible for GME admission based on entrance exams, aspirants need to appear for any entrance exam and take part in the counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to get admission to the Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) course must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria given below:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably Mechanical engineering and Naval Architecture) with at least 60% marks from a recognised university.
Candidates must have fluency in English Language and must be medically fit (height, vision, hearing, etc.)
One must be not greater than 25 years and not less than 17 years.
Aspirants must have qualified any of the entrance exams such as WBJEE, JEE, IMU CET, AP EAMCET, etc. conducted at the National or State level.
