The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) offers an MTech program in 36 disciplines. IIT Bombay offers MTech in the form of a full-time program of 2-years as well as a part-time program of 3-year duration.

IIT Jodhpur MTech
- IIT Jodhpur MTech is a full-time program offered in a variety of technical subjects.
- Candidates must have a B.Tech degree with 60% marks and must have the required set of subjects studied at UG level, plus scores in GATE followed by registering for COAP. Check: GATE Scorecard
- There is a 5% relaxation for reserved category students applying for IIT Jodhpur MTech admission.
- Part time and sponsored applicants can also apply for MTech admissions at IIT Jodhpur, provided they have a 2 years experience. They will also have to qualify for a written test and interview conducted by IIT Jodhpur.

IIT Patna MTech
IIT Patna MTech 2023 admission will commence with GATE exam that will be conducted on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023. Applicants in the 3rd year of their UG degree program were also allowed to sit for the GATE exam. IIT Bhubaneswar MTech

- Candidates will be shortlisted for the MTech program based on their merit in the GATE exam.

IISc Bangalore MTech
IISc Bangalore offers 19 MTech and M.Des programs at Post Graduate Level. There are a total of 400 seats for which the institute offers admission at PG. For MTech admission, a GATE score is a must and for M.Des candidates either have a GATE or CEED score. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Architecture is considered to be basic eligibility for MTech in IISc. Application forms will be made available from February to March.
