JCECEB will be release a merit list for JCECE 2021 Counselling in the month of July 2021 (tentatively). Only those candidates whose names are on the Merit list, qualify for the seat allotment process of JCECE 2021. JCECE 2021 Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates. JCECEB will publish the merit list and the seat matrix schedule on the official website. JCECE 2021 Merit List
JCECEB will publish two merit lists -Combined Merit List and Category-Wise Result. Only qualifying candidates will be called for the JCECE 2021 counselling procedure. Seat allotment will be based on Merit list and candidate’s choice of college. The list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates. This list will be used at the time of JCECE Counselling for allocation of seats. After the Merit list will be released, candidates will have to submit admission application stating preferences for different degree programmes
JCECE 2021 Merit List Stream-Wise
Engineering – JCECE 2021 Engineering Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry subjects.
Veterinary/Dental/Homeopath/Ayurveda – (Preliminary) – Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry in JCECE 2021 .
Agriculture/Forestry – Merit list of PCMB Group will be prepared after combining both groups on the basis of marks obtained in PCM & PCB Group
In case of tie between candidates with similar score following procedure will be carried out
Engineering (B.Tech) Stream
- Candidates with higher score in mathematics in the Examination shall be given more preference, If there is a tie then
- A candidate with higher score in Physics in the Examination shall be given more preference, if tie still exists then
- Aspirants older in age shall be preferred over younger candidate, if tie persists then
- First Name as per English alphabetical order will be the final consideration.
M.B.B.S, BDS. & B.H.M.S Stream
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the Examination shall be preferred, if there is a tie then
- Aspirants with higher marks in Chemistry in the Examination shall be preferred, if there is still a tie then
- Candidates older in age shall be preferred over younger candidate, if the tie still exists then
- First Name as per English alphabetical order will be the final consideration.
B.Sc. Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Forestry) Stream
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Examination shall be preferred, if tie exists
- Aspirants with higher score higher marks in Chemistry in the Examination will be considered, if tie doesn’t break then
- Candidate with older age shall be preferred over younger candidate, If tie still exists
- First Name as per English alphabetical order will be the final consideration.
Steps to download the JCECE Merit list 2021
- Visit the Official website of JCECEB, “jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in
- Click on “Merit List” button on the home page of JCECEB official website.
- Enter the Registration number and Password to sign in.
- Enter individual Roll No.
- Save, Download/Print the merit list.
JCECE Seat Allotment 2021
JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) will conduct JCECE 2021 Counselling and Seat Allotment for 2021 from the first week of July (tentatively). The allocation will be based on the candidates’ Scores/Merit in the Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2021 and the choice of college /course selected by them.
JCECE counselling and seat allotment procedure will be declared on the official website of JCECE. The seat allotment counselling procedure is carried out in multiple rounds and new counselling dates will be announced and the procedure will continue until all the seats are filled. There are more than 6000 seats in around 19 colleges (government and private colleges) available for admission in B.E/ B.Tech programmes.
JCECE 2021 Seat Allotment Procedure
The seat allotment procedure for JCECE 2021 will commence after the required verification of documents of the participating candidates is completed. Only those candidates will be eligible for allocation of seat who have successfully applied for the Counselling Process and have filled in the choices of college and branch.
- JCECE 2021 will be conducted online and seat matrix, seat allotment and the status of the participating candidate will be displayed on the official website of JCECE.
- The entire seat allotment schedule for JCECE 2021 will be published online on the JCECE official Web page.
- To participate in the seat allotment procedure, candidate must fill the JCECE 2021 counselling registration form.
- The criteria for seat allotment will be merit-cum-choice. JCECE board will consider both the score and the choice of college while allocating the seats.
- The qualifying candidates will be called for counselling process. Candidates will have to attend the counselling on the scheduled date, time and place.
- Candidates will have to carry the essential documents and Xerox copies of the documents for JCECE seat allotment 2021.
- Only after verification of the essential documents, the candidates will be allotted seats.
- Failure of verification or failure of submission of the documents can lead to cancellation of candidature.
- In the First round the seat allotment, counselling for all the listed seats will be carried out and if there are vacancies left, Second round will be conducted to fill the remaining seats.
- The process of seat allotment will be carried out until all the seats are filled.
- Government specified Reservations will also be applicable on the seat allotment.
- In case, any candidate is dissatisfied with the seat that is allotted to him/her in the first round, then he/she can opt for seat upgradation in the subsequent round. If the seat is not upgraded in the subsequent round then the first seat allotment will be considered as the final allotment.
- After successful seat allotment, candidates must confirm their admissions by reporting to the allotted institute and completing the requisite admission formalities.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat during the JCECE 2021 Seat Allotment process will also be required to pay an allotment fee of Rs.2000/- along with the admission fee at the time of reporting to the allotted institute.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat during the JCECE 2021 Seat Allotment process will be required to pay an allotment fee of INR 2000/- along with the admission fee at the time of reporting to the allotted institute.
