MAH MCA CET 2023 Merit List Preparation
The following is the basis of producing the Merit List of all the MAH MCA CET aspirants-
- Maharashtra State Seats: Aspirants from Maharashtra State who have secured non zero non-negative marks in MCA CET 2023 will be assigned a First-year State level General Merit Number, Second year State level Merit General Number for eligible for second year MCA, as well as corresponding Home University area Merit number, Category merit no. etc.
- OMS Seats: Candidates from Other Maharashtra State, who has secured non-zero and non-negative marks in MAH MCA CET 2023 or else have secured equivalent score in AIMCET 2023 will be assigned OMS merit number.
- J & K Migrant Seats: Each J & K Migrant candidate who has appeared and secured non-zero & non-negative marks in the MAH MCA CET 2023 will be assigned a State level J&K Merit Number.
Note: MAH MCA CET marks will be displayed in terms of percentile on the scorecard of MAH MCA CET.
Relative Merit in case of equal marks: In case the MAH MCA CET 2023 candidates securing equal CET Score, then their relative merit will be determined on the basis of the following order of preference:
Higher Percentage in XII > Higher Percentage in X > Higher Percentage in Mathematics in X

Ques: Will there be any sectional cut off in MAH MCA CET exam?
Ans: No. There will not be any sectional cut off. To qualify for the counselling process, candidates have to score well in the overall exam. Qualifying marks are those that make you eligible to apply for the counselling process. After that depending on the cut off decided by different colleges, admission or seat is offered to candidates based on their scores.
Ques: What are the minimum marks required to qualify for MCA colleges?
Ans: There are no minimum marks defined because every college has its own cut-off. After the declaration of result, if your name is there in the merit list then it means you are qualified to apply for the counselling process. Ques: What are the marks required to get admission in VJTI?
Ans: As per MAH MCA CET 2019 cut off of VJTI, the opening and closing ranks are 67 and 105,000 respectively. So from here, all the candidates can have an idea about the ranks they need to get admission in VJTI. The cut off always depends on the various factors like the number of candidates applied, number of seats, the difficulty level of the exam in that particular year etc. so it is not necessary that opening and closing ranks will remain the same of every year.
