NCHMCT JEE 2023 Eligibility

Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have cleared the secondary and senior secondary level of the exam with English as a compulsory subject. Clearing English subject is mandatory.
- Candidates appearing for the final exam and awaiting the final result are also eligible to apply for the exam (provided they submit their proof of qualifying 10+2 standard exam along with other eligibility conditions at the time of admission or counselling).
- Applicants who have finished 12 years of official schooling in order are eligible to apply for the program.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
- Any Public-School Examination in India or in a foreign country acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
- H.S.C. Vocational Examination accepted by NCVT and SCVT of the state applicant belongs to.
Age Limit
- The upper age limit for General & OBC applicants is 22 years as of 1st August 2023.
- The upper age limit for SC/ST is 25 years as of 1st August 2023.
- Applicants should fulfill the minimum age criteria set by the exam conducting body.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Application Form
NCHMCT JEE 2023 Application Form is available from February 2, 2023 in online mode. Students can check here the details of the online application form of NCHMCT JEE 2023:
- Candidates are required to fill all the details like Name, Parents Name, etc in the application form as mentioned in their certificate.
- Candidates have to upload the scanned image of a recent photograph (online mode).
There is no option for sending the off-line/hard copy of the application form. Therefore, candidates are advised to take a print copy of the completely filled-in application form for future use.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admit Card
NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admit Card will tentatively be released in the 1st week of May 2023 online on the official website. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official website. NTA will not deliver NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admit Card to candidates via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.
You shall also bring one photo ID proof:
- Driving license
- Voter ID
- PAN card
- Aadhar card or any other govt. ID and
- Notarized Affidavit with photo in which the photo of applicant is attached and clearly visible.
Candidates will not be permitted to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2023 without showing correct and suitable photo identification.
Candidates are advised to download two copies of NCHMCT Admit Card 2023 because one has to be self-attested and deposited to the invigilator for his/her signature & which will be preserved and which will be required during the counseling procedure and the other one has to be carried along on the date of the examination.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must be aware of NCHMCT JEE 2023 Exam Pattern that is followed for the examination before the commencement of preparation for it.
NCHMCT JEE will be a 3-hour online exam. It will contain 200 questions.
- 4 mark is awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Preparation Tips
- Frame a Time-Table: A proper timetable helps to set a clear action goal for the exam. Time table should be created in such a manner that candidates should allocate enough time for each subject. Set weekly targets and try to finish them in the set time frame.
- Newspaper Reading: Candidates should start reading at least 2-3 newspapers daily 1 year prior to the exam. This will not only help candidates to update their general knowledge & current affair but will also improve vocabulary and increases reading comprehension skills.

NCHMCT JEE is a hotel management entrance exam that is conducted by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Basis NCHMCT JEE scores, admission at 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 1 Public Sector Undertaking, 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management, and 9 Food Craft Institutes that are affiliated to NCHMCT will be offered to the candidates.

On completing the seat allotment process, the candidate will have to deposit a participating fee of counselling which is Rs. 40,000 (Rs. 38,000 i.e. seat acceptance fee + Rs. 2,000 i.e. counselling fee) and it's inclusive of a part of 1st Semester Fee through the HDFC payment gateway available on the web site.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines
NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be conducted as a home-proctored online test because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Candidates can make a note of the exam day guidelines and requirements mentioned below.
NCHMCT JEE 2023 Technical Requirements:
- System (Laptop / Desktop) with web camera and microphone
- System Configuration: at least 2MB RAM (however, 4GB is recommended)
- Processor Speed- 1.5 GHz or above
- Windows- 7/8/10 with at least Core2 Duo processor and 40GB Hard Disk Memory
- Clock Speed- Minimum 1.4GHz
- No antivirus is required. In case already present, disable the same
- Dot.net 4.5 must be installed on the system
- Preferred Browsers: Google Chrome (Ver. 75 or above), Mozilla Firefox (Ver. 70 or above)
- Internet Bandwidth: 512 Kbps to 1 Mbps
NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. There are certain guidelines that candidates need to follow during the exam. These include:
- No breaks are allowed during the exam.
- In case of any technical errors during the exam, candidates must inform the proctor through chat.
- In case of internet disconnection during the submission of the exam, candidates must contact the helpline at 0120- 6740105 and not close the window.
- All pop-ups must be blocked before the start of the exam.
- Candidates must install Safe Exam Browser(SEB) on their laptops before the start of the exam.
- Candidates must have 2 blank sheets with them for rough work.
