NEET MDS Result 2023 validity is only for the current admission session only. NBE has also released the qualifying NEET MDS 2023 Cut off. The Cut off scores are 272 for the UR category, 238 for the SC/ST/OBC category, and 255 for UR-PwD category.

NEET MDS Tie-Breaking Criteria
- In case of a tie, candidate with less number of incorrect responses in the overall paper will be placed at a higher merit position in comparison to a candidate with more number of incorrect responses.
- In case the number of incorrect responses is the same, then the candidate with a higher score in Section B will be placed higher.
- If marks in Section B are equal, then the candidate with less number of incorrect responses in Section B will be placed higher.
- If the tie still remains or all the above-mentioned criteria fail, then the candidate older in age will be placed higher on the merit list.
NEET MDS Type of Merit Lists
NEET MDS 2023 Merit list will be based on for categories which are mentioned below:
- All India rank NEET 2023 MDS: This is the national level merit position of the applicant among all the applicants who gave the NEET MDS 2023 entrance exam all over India.
- All India rank 50% quota: This is also a national level merit position of the applicant who has appeared for NEET MDS 2023 for all India 50% quota and is only valid for Post Graduate MDS Courses 2023 admission session 50% quota all over India
- All India 50% quota Special Category Rank: This is also a national level merit position of the applicant who belongs to the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC for all India 50% quota and is only valid for Post Graduate MDS Courses 2023 admission session 50% quota all over India.
- Private Dental colleges/Deemed University/AFMS/ State quota rank: State category rank, a benefit for In-service candidates, State quota rank, etc. shall be broadcasted by the designated authority of the concerned State/university as per the eligibility criteria, applicable reservation policies and guidelines.

NEET MDS 2023 Counselling
- The applicants will have to apply to the concerned State Medical Directorate / Counselling Authority(s) of States / UT / Private Universities / Medical colleges/institutes based on their own discretion. NBE plays no part in the seat allotment process.
