NMAT Exam Centers 2022 list has been released along with the official notification by GMAC on August 1, 2022. This year, the number of exam centers and cities has been increased. NMAT 2022 will be conducted in 76 test centers located in 73 test cities across India.
- NMAT 2022 Registration has started and will continue till October 10, 2022. Candidates can choose their preferred exam city based on proximity and convenience while filling NMAT 2022 application forms.

Foreign candidates residing outside India can choose only online remote proctored mode while applying for NMAT 2022 exam. Candidates appearing for NMAT 2022 in IBT mode must ensure that they follow the standard rules set by the authorities as well as fulfill all the network & system requirements.

How to Check the Exam Center Allotted for NMAT 2022?
Candidates must note that all the details regarding the exam center allotted will be mentioned on their NMAT Admit Card 2022 which will be issued within 24 hrs of the successful completion of NMAT by GMAC registration. Given below are the steps to check the test center details on the admit card:
- Visit the official website for NMAT 2022
- Click on the download “NMAT admit card” tab.
- Login with your Application Number and password.
- Click on Login and your NMAT 2022 Admit Card will be downloaded in pdf format on your device.
- Check all the details mentioned on the admit card like exam center venue & address, exam time & date, name, roll number, etc.
- Save and print it out for future reference.
Instructions for NMAT by GMAC 2022 Exam Center
Candidates should keep the following points in mind while going for NMAT by GMAC 2022:
- If a candidate disobeys and refuses to show his documents, he might get dismissed from the examination and strict action shall be taken against him.
- Candidate must not involve in any kind of objectionable activities such as talking, cheating, etc. It may result in cancellation of examination and subsequent punishment.
- It is important to note that the time mentioned in the admit card is the time of commencement of the examination. Candidates must reach the examination hall 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Do carry your NMAT by GMAC Admit Card along with a valid ID proof to the examination hall.
- In case the candidate fails to locate his examination center, he should contact the allotted center’s authority and ask for directions.

COVID-19 Guidelines for NMAT 2022
In the light of recent events due to the Coronavirus pandemic, safety instructions must be followed to avoid contamination.
- At the exam centers, all candidates are required to provide a self-declaration form mentioning that they do not have fever, cough, cold, diarrhea, or breathing problems.
- Candidates must wear a face mask at the exam center.
- Sanitizer must be carried by each student.
- Each student must carry their own transparent water bottle.
- Maintain social distancing while standing or sitting inside the exam center.
- Admit card and other id documents must be kept on the table to allow the invigilator to verify without hassle.
- Inside the test center, no guardians will be allowed. Only candidates can enter.
Documents to Carry at NMAT by GMAC 2022 Test Center
It is mandatory to carry the below-mentioned documents to NMAT exam center on the test day:
- Printout of NMAT 2022 Admit Card
- Any of the following valid photo ID proofs in photocopy and original:
- Passport
- PAN Card

NMAT by GMAC Exam Centre FAQs
Ques. Is it mandatory to carry NMAT admit card to the test center?
Ans. Candidate must carry the admit card to the exam center. It holds the registration details and photographs. It is a prerequisite to be eligible to sit in the examination. Along with the admit card, the candidate must have valid ID proof.
Ques. When should a candidate report at the allotted NMAT by GMAC 2022 exam center?
Ans. Candidate must reach the NMAT by GMAC 2022 exam center 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
Ques. Will candidates be allowed to take the test if they enter late at NMAT by GMAC 2022 examination hall?
Ans. The candidate will only be allowed to sit for the exam if he is late with a maximum limit of 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
Ques. What if the candidate does not appear for NMAT by GMAC 2022?
Ans. If a candidate fails to appear for the examination on the first attempt and subsequently in the second and third attempt, he will be declared as a “no show”. It will be treated as an attempt. The candidate will be given 3 attempts at NMAT by GMAC as per GMAC policy and “no show” will be treated as an attempt.
Ques. How will a candidate be identified on the day of NMAT by GMAC examination?
Ans. The candidate will be made to submit his digital photograph and digital signatures. These will be kept for further records. The candidate who refuses to get his identity processed digitally will not be allowed to sit for the examination and it is important to note that the candidate will be under video surveillance while he/she will be appearing for the NMAT by GMAC 2022 examination.
Ques. Should the name of the candidate on the ID proof match with the name of the candidate appearing for the test?
Ans. The name of the candidate should match the name on the ID proof. The candidate must carry supporting documents of verification with him to NMAT by GMAC 2022 test center.
Ques. Should the candidate appearing for NMAT by GMAC 2022 carry his own rough sheet for calculations?
Ans. The candidate should abide by the rules strictly and not carry any paper except the required documents at the time of examination. If a candidate is found to be using unfair means within the premises of the examination hall, his examination paper shall stand canceled.
Ques. What happens if a test taker clicks “NO, I do not accept” on Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) screen by mistake?
Ans. If a candidate clicks on the “NO, I do not Accept” option by mistake, he will be made to confirm the decision on the next page. But if he deliberately chooses the same option, he/she will not be able to take the examination. The examination shall end then and there only for the day.
Ques. While reviewing the questions, if the candidate selects the “End Review” button unintentionally, will he be able to rectify the mistake?
Ans. If the candidate chooses the “End Review” option unintentionally, he will proceed to the confirmation page where he can decline the “End Review” option and resume the reviewing procedure.
Ques. What if the computer malfunctions during the examination?
Ans. If during the examination, the candidate faces a computer malfunctioning, he should inform the examination administrator and bring it to his notice. No answers entered earlier will be gone. The examination administrator will reboot the computer system and the time will stop till the malfunction is fixed. When the candidate will start with the examination again the answers entered earlier will appear again and the time will start automatically.
Ques. What if the candidate faces any problem with the content of the questions?
Ans. If a candidate faces any challenge with the content of the question, he should inform the examination administrator and continue with other questions.
