The Technical University of Braunschweig is a public research university and is a member of TU9, an association of the top nine German universities of technology. It is the largest technical university in Northern Germany. With the highest level of investment in research, the university is the academic centre of Braunschweig in the centre of Europe’s active research region.

TU Braunschweig has over 18,500 students that are enrolled in 84 different study programs with more than 3,000 international students from all over the world. Currently, TU Braunschweig offers programs at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level in all the fields.

Admissions at Technical University of Braunschweig take place through two intakes: winter and summer, applicants are required to apply before the priority deadline of June 15. Technical University of Braunschweig Residence

The Studentenwerk has eight residence halls for students and two guest houses for international scientists that consists of more than 1800 single rooms.

  • The eight residence halls consist of single and double apartments, and shared flats and are located in the proximity of the TU Braunschweig campus.

The Technical University of Braunschweig offers a broad range of bachelor, master and doctoral programs in the fields of engineering, social sciences, humanities, economics, and natural sciences through its six faculties.
