Throughout the course, students develop a detailed knowledge of current biodiversity and paleontology, have the opportunity to specialize in certain taxonomical groups and learn how to obtain and reliably document data on biodiversity. A secondary focus of the course is on developing project management skills, promoting international cooperation and organizing research teams.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the entry requirements to this program :
- The student must have obtained a degree or a qualification that is recognized in the field of biology – or a comparable field such as forestry, agro-ecology, nature conservation, landscape planning or geo-ecology
- A further requirement is a proficiency in the English language at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- the level must be verified with by presenting a certificate for a completed language test, in particular, the paper-based TOEFL test, the computer-based TOEFL test, the internet-based TOEFL test or IELTS test
