  • The university has several campuses in Karlsruhe which is the second-largest city of Baden-Württemberg. KIT’s main campus is spread over 150 acres of land with a park and a forest close to it.

  • From grants, scholarships, loans to on-campus jobs, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Financial Aid has many aids that are available to students who don't have a stable financial condition or are in need of financial aid.
  • There are mainly two types of financial aids:
    • General Financial Aid: All international students who find themselves in economic distress can apply.
    • STIBET Financial Aid: International students who are in the last stage of their study and who have registered or are about to register for their thesis can apply. Aid is awarded to students who unexpectedly fall in financial distress and have no other means of funding themselves.
    • Both of the aids are provided for up to 6 months. At least 250 EUR per month is given as financial aid. Students are required to maintain a grade point of at least 2.5 to be eligible.

Part-time jobs are a good way to fund the day-to-day needs of a student who has distress in finance.

  • KIT allows students to work while studying.

However, the university does not offer any bachelor’s program in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. But Concordia University offers a Bachelor of Computer Science program.
