The M.Sc. Nutrition and Biomedicine focuses on the interfaces between human biology, nutritional science and medicine. It follows an interdisciplinary approach to current topics in modern nutrition and biomedicine. Its key features are the development, prevention and treatment of complex nutrition-related diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, gastrointestinal diseases, and cancer.

There are zero tuition fees for all students at TUM. However, all the students are entitled to pay a semester fee of 147.40€ ( 154.39 USD) which includes Student Union fees and the basic semester ticket for public transportation in Munich.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

  • Applicant should have Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a natural science course.
  • Graduates in nutrition are welcome to apply to the master program, as well as students from other natural sciences and related disciplines who share an interest in nutritional and biomedical issues.
  • However, a thorough understanding of biology, human physiology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and standard laboratory techniques is vital for successful graduate studies at the study program division of nutrition.
  • Applicant should score in test of english proficiency(TOFEL or IELTS).

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.

To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.

International students applying for admission at TUM must submit a valid German Language Proficiency test certificate. You can check the admission requirements of the said program from BA Architecture at TUM.
