"The National Defence Academy is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academy for further pre-commission training. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra.NDA Pune offers a full-time residential undergraduate programme in fields of Science and Humanities. The Science stream gives option of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science while Arts stream gives option of studying History, Political Science, Geography, Economics and foreign Languages. Apart from two-year BA and BSc, the academy also offers three-year BTech degree which is offered in four different specialisations namely Computer, ECE, Mechanical and IT.
