It was founded in the year 2005, with the vision and toil of Pranav Kumar, a scholar from JNU (New Delhi). He served as a faculty in the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi from 2003 to 2011. Criteria of Selection:

• This scholarship is only for those students who are seeking admission to the class room contact program.
• The candidate must belong to the state or central govt. universities (no private college or universities).
• The candidates have secured 1st rank in their current year degree (B.Sc./B.Tech./M.Sc.) examination.
• The candidates will have to produce their original certificate as proof.
