It's a nice bakery cafe with great ambience. We had gone there to have breakfast. We ordered one omelette combo and one lavonne combo. Dishes all looked nice, but all of them were bland. Scrambled eggs, salad and the potato wedges all were not seasoned at all. We ordered cinnamon roll and golden lemon and coconut baked dessert which were good. But overall experience wasn't upto the hype level.
Lavonne gets its desserts and pastry right, both visually and gustatory. The coffee is so-so - I've ordered the cortado here multiple times, and what I get is a latte. I would recommend going with a filter coffee, which is double the portion of what you would get in a south Indian restaurant. The vegetarian sandwiches I have ordered are heavy on the dressing, so they can make for messy eating. The waiters here don't drop subtle hints for you to leave if your plate is empty, so it's a good place to work, hang out solo or with friends. All in all, I would recommend this place for dessert.
Signed up for a weekend workshop. Got to learn so much in a day and all thanks to Chef Vishal for teaching us to bake some yummy desserts. If you are looking for baking classes please sign up they have weekend programs, diploma and full fledge courses
