Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) is an undergraduate degree programme offered by the Department of Computer Science (DCS) under the Kulliyyah/Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). It aims to produce individuals with conceptual knowledge and practical skills in order to meet the needs of the present and future information technology challenge. The programme is designed to produce professionals that are able to create solutions using IT expertise as well as to play a positive role in the society with Islamic values.
Programme Objectives
- To enable students to understand the mathematics and science behind computing machines and networks.
- To design software for real world application that can enhance the quality of life of people in the society.
- To impart Islamic values and ethics in software application design.
- To asses and apply suitable technology such as networking technology to build information systems and infrastructure in a specific domain.
- To promote collaboration for the management of information systems, source of information, information strategy and end user requirement.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed high school
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in ibt; 213 in CBT; 580 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6
