Bihar PG Medical Second Round Counselling 2020: Registration Started, Counselling, Cuttoff, Eligibility


BCECE has begun Second round counselling for Bihar PG Medical Admission 2020 on 14 August 2020. 

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) offers admission in PGMAC [MD / MS / PG Diploma (PGD)] Courses in the Govt. / Private Medical / Dental Colleges in the state.

Interested candidates have to visit the official website of BCECEB (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/) to apply for admission. For admission in PG medical courses, candidates have to appear in PG National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)

Students of all categories (Unreserved/ SC/ST/BC/EBC/DQ) have to pay a fee worth INR 2200 to register for counselling sessions. Check below for links to Online Counselling portal.

BCECEB PG Medical Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission in BCECEB PG medical courses should meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates should have an M.B.B.S. degree from any Medical College of Bihar registered under the Medical Council of India.

  • Students are permanent residents or domiciled of Bihar 
  • Candidates should have Bihar State Medical Council or MCI issued permanent/provisional registered certificate.
  • The applicants should possess a certificate of one-year rotatory internship for admissions.

Bihar PG Medical Counselling 2020: Process Details

  • The counselling process for Bihar PG medical admission will be held in online mode by BCECEB.

  • 50% Seats are reserved for admission through state quota.

  • Candidates selected through online counselling will be selected for admission in Bihar PG medical colleges.
  • Seats are allotted based on availability and choice filled by candidates, earlier.
  • Candidates allotted seats have to report to respective colleges for fee payment and complete final formalities of admission.

BCECEB PG Medical Admission 2020: Documents Required for Round-2 Counselling

Applicants need to keep these following documents in hand while for PG Medical admission in Bihar:

  • NEET PG Admit Card 2020

  • 3 photographs similar to the one used in NEET PG admit card
  • Copy of challan as proof of counselling fee payment
  • MBBS- Pass certificate
  • Mark sheets of MBBS (Part I, II and III)
  • Residential certificate
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • College leaving certificate
  • Rotatory Internship completion certificate
  • NOC by employers
  • MCI/SMC Certificate of Medical registration
  • Additional certificate as mentioned in the prospectus to support eligibility
