Dr. Ramesh P.L.N. is the Principal of Prathyusha Engineering College Chennai since 2016 and has implemented innovations in the teaching learning process. has graduated from JNTU, Anantapur and received his doctorate from Anna University, Chennai. He has a rich teaching experience of 25 years which includes Administrative responsibilities. He has a rich industrial experience in Ramco Systems and as senior Business Analyst, RSL Enterprise Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Durban, South Africa.

Being the Principal of an indefatigable college affiliated to Anna university, my thoughts on the education industry would indefinitely be the predominant of all the industries. It is because people get an opportunity to learn and update themselves constantly only in this industry. Prathyusha Engineering College (PEC) is the best of the lot mainly due to the persistent selfless service rendered by the faculty members for the betterment of the students.

It is pivotal to influence people to orchestrate a task in hand 

My philosophy of leadership is to influence people to orchestrate a task in hand instead of commanding them to execute it. Being a director, I lead by valuing every PECian’s opinion if it is genuinely promoting the growth of the institution as a whole irrespective of their designation or experience.

Although there are differences in opinions but we stand together to face the challenges together

Once in a blue moon differences in opinions arise in certain matters but nevertheless we stand united overcoming those perspectives clashes by visualizing our larger goal benefitting our dear students. Through standing together we face all the challenges together.

Acknowledging the worries and difficulties of the students helps to build amicable relations with the students

It seems like a cake walk to me when I approach them by acknowledging their worries and difficulties. I strongly believe that students hold immense potential within themselves that could be harnessed by directing them in the right path. With proper direction and helping them nudge in the right path, students can outperform themselves and shine in the world. Students need to be nurtured throughout their course.

We face all the challenges together and through our constant team effort, we are able to overcome all the challenges faced by our team. Though it may seem cliché, “United we stand”! 

We make sure to provide a ambient atmosphere for the students to grow holistically

My vision when I came to Prathyusha Engineering College was to have “all-rounder students” throughout the campus and not just a handful of students.Every student needs to excel in his field of interest and we need to provide that ambience to the students. Yes, undoubtedly it has evolved so and today every student who stops by to greet me seems to be a proficient student in all domains.
