How long have you been with the Shri Swami Atmanand Saraswati Institute of Technology? What made you so optimistic about staying here?

“The perpetual perks full of knowledge, information and capabilities to share them”

 I have been working at Shree Swami Atmanand Saraswati Institute of Technology since 2009. It allows me to work with the younger minds for their improvement and self-enhancement, for creating a flexible atmosphere of learning, the working of supportive management to learn the value of formal relations and work environment. I would like to work with students, Self-Improvement, Flexibility of work, supportive management, got leadership opportunities at the Institute level, Job stability is the criteria. 

What made you choose this sector of the industry?

“Being a motivation for the youth to contribute to the development in the Nation”

I like the teaching field and I want to inspire the next generation, I am passionate about my subjects and I want to become a lifelong learner. I aspire to motivate the youth to succeed in their lives for contributing to the growth of the Nation. This is a Nobel profession to be considered as a great service to society.

What were the key decisions that led you to your current position?

“The proper management and maintenance of decorum are the foremost decisions”

The facilities and development of facilities asked by the students for their betterment. The development of infrastructure for better education and activity-based learning. The real-time exposure we ought to provide for engineering practices for better experiential learning. We provide counseling sessions for the students with the faculty coordinators. We frequently organize Seminars, Expert Lectures, and Symposiums to heighten the learning process.

How will you introduce your College to prospective students?

“The institute that works to provide the best to all the students with the motive of contributing to the Nation”

In Our Institute along with teaching, to promote the cause of Technology to ignite young brains & to propagate technical expertise to enhance scientific queries, we organize an annual Technical event “Vaividhya” every year. To show the hidden talent of students in the cultural domain, we organize an annual Cultural event “Vivir” every 2 years. To improve physical ability, to stay fit & healthy, and to create sportsman spirit, we organize the sports event GAME ON every year. We are also encouraging students to take part in University zonal level and Interzonal level sports festival “SPIRIT”, youth festival “XITIJ” and technical festival “GTU TECHFEST”. We have won So many Trophies at the Sports and Cultural festival of Gujarat technological University.

How does the college plan on dealing with the current crisis of COVID-19?

“Acceptance of the new normal to move on in life”

In this current Crisis of COVID-19, as per the directives of Government, Students are not allowed to study offline, Our Institute Faculties are doing online Teaching on various online platforms like Google meet and WebEx as well as they are making videos of Practical is so that students can easily understand the practical demonstration of various concepts of Engineering.

How will your College’s plans affect the new and returning students?

“Planning a well-structured activity-based learning with several seminars and training”

A new plan will provide the flexibility of learning and reducing transpiration time and cost, which intern benefited students. The mandatory internship programs and training for the students to create a well-developed personality. This generates good placement settlement for the students of our institute.

How does your College fare in the Innovation sector?

“To enhance the capacity of student’s perception and development”

We are having Innovation & Development Cell, which look after the student’s Project and their Start-Ups. The role of the Innovation & development Cell in our Institute is to provide a platform for students to nurture their soft skills and technical talents to lead them towards Innovation. SSASIT have Govt. of India approved IIC (Institution's Innovation Council) by MoE (Ministry of Education) for Start- Up support. SSASIT have Govt. of Gujarat approved (by GKS) SSIP (Student Start-up Innovation Policy) Centre since last three years with 10 Lakh grant every year to provide facilities for promoting students’ Innovative Ideas & Start-Up with Patent filling support. As well as we have CED (Centre for Entrepreneurship Development) for providing Govt. certified entrepreneurship skill enhancement courses. I & D Cell also facilitates students for different International /National /State level Hackathons and Project Competitions. This cell also provides facilities for promoting their Innovative Ideas as well as technical solutions for the Local and Global Changes for the Society. I & D Cell also facilitates students for different Zonal/State/national level Hackathon and Project Competition.

How do you encourage critical thinking and the importance of core values in your College?

“Promoting learning and experiential knowledge for better career prospect in the Nation for students”

Our Institute is having training & placement Cell. The training cell is working for the Soft skills, Critical Values and core values development in students along with his curriculum. Until now, so many programs have been conducted by training cells. Besides, students are learning the Contributor Personality Development Program (CPDP) and Integrated Personality Development Course in their curriculum. Both the subjects are very important for today’s youth to get a positive thought pattern, gain confidence, improve behavior, learn better communication, and develop a healthy physique with morality and ethics in its core.

How do you get in touch with the students whenever required, and, what is the general rundown of events while you interact with the students?

“Social media and the increasingly digital era makes it all advance and easily accessible”

Whenever we want to contact students immediately, we are having a social Platform of what’s app Group. If we want to circulate any Information, among them, we can share it with social Media Platforms like what’s app, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
