The Institute of Management Education came into existence in 1995 and it established itself as one of the pioneer B-Schools of the country. The institute was established with a mission to serve the society by promoting excellence in education. The management institute offers courses in diverse fields including Management, Commerce, IT and Law. 

IME is in the forefront of developing ever increasing intellects in interconnected and inter-cultural worlds. IME believes in preparing its passing out graduates to play their role in peace building, community service, serving and leading in global context.

The college doesn't just give students an education and experiences that set them up for success in a career but help them succeed in their career—to discover a field they’re passionate about and dare to lead it.

The purpose of the IME is to train and equip the younger generation of the society so that they can excel in the field of management, law, and Info-technology. etc. and play a dominant role in nation building. IME is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is also certified ‘B’ school by the International Accreditation Organization USA.

To achieve excellence, IME supports sincere students by providing scholarships known as 'Radhika Scholarship' at 2 or 3 levels in professional courses at admission or entry.
