Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Shresth Sharma: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Shresth Sharma: “There was a group task this time and not a discussion on a particular topic. The setting was quite professional. The candidates were divided in two teams with 5 members in each team. Two moderators were present who evaluated us based on how we perform.

Everything was offline, each and every member got a chance to speak as we had divided the tasks. We were alloted 10 minutes to think and then we started off.

In group tasks, focus on allocating tasks, give chance to everyone, don't be authoritative.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Shresth Sharma: "It was sort of a campaign for which we required to spread awareness among the general public. Stationery items were provided such that we can be creative at the same time. After planning out everything we were required to present the whole task.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Shresth Sharma: “So, I handled the social media task. Created a few posters for the same and how it shall be posted on social media platforms. So I was asked about how this particular post is going to help spread awareness. So I confidently justified my point.

Here a tip would be that, try to be as precise as possible and never beat around the bush.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Shresth Sharma: “Total panels were three and I was sent to panel 1. There were 2 members in each panel and they were faculties of the institute. The mode was offline with proper business attire.

My interview was a mixture of technical and stress interview which lasted for about 20 minutes.

When you face a stress interview, try to remain calm. The panel will throw weird questions sometimes just to test patience and on the spot thinking. So the only way out is to remain calm, composed and confident in whatever you speak.”
