What is your philosophy of leadership?

I follow a democratic style of leadership and make decisions based on mutual opinions”

As a leader, I believe in a participative and cooperative approach towards work. My teammates have the freedom to approach me for any project or suggestion. I always remember the quote by Mr. Narayana Moorthy, “ Your ears should be wide enough to get the feedback from your staff”

How do you plan for the marketing and administration of your college?

“By providing quality education to students and allowing them to be our brand ambassadors”

We constantly upgrade our programmes to be relevant not only to the current market requirements but also to the latest upcoming trends. This gives our students an edge in the competitive job market. It is very important to be nimble in this regard to provide the most relevant learning to our students. For marketing, we rely largely on the quality of our programmes to do the bulk of the talking. We take regular feedback from our students as well. Regular marketing activities also play an important part to create visibility.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

The declining trend of Engineering education is the biggest challenge”

These days students are not motivated towards engineering education. Many students prefer Arts, Pharmacy and paramedical courses. We have to increase awareness towards the field of Engineering. The students must understand the contributions of Engineers in the growth of society.
