The Deccan College, Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Deemed University, established on 6 October 1821. The University has three full-fledged Departments. Courses offered by the university are MA Archaelog, M.A. Linguistics, M.A. Sanskrit & Lexicography, M.Phil , Ph.D, M A. Sanskrit & Lexicography.

The university follows semester wise curriculum, odd and even semester. The semester-wise academic calendar is divided into two semesters i.e. Odd semester (July-December) and Even semester (December-June)

The result of university examinations is uploaded on the website after 40 days of completion of exams. The result is updated on UPDATES tab of college website. Students can follow the below given steps to check their respective course result:

  • Go to the university web portal.
  • Click under the Updates tab.
  • A dialog box with date and name of the event will appear on screen.
  • Select your respective course result.
  • A pdf file will be downloaded, save the file for further use and reference.

The university uploads the timetable on website before the commencement of the examinations. The timetable of Odd and Even semester examination is uploaded on the website. The Odd semester exams are held in November – December whereas the even semester exams are held in April – May. Students can follow the below given steps to check examination time table:
