JECRC Foundation released the data of the 1^st Phase of Placement Drive for the Graduates of batch 2023.

The JECRC team, with its continual and commendable efforts has again led to establishment of a milestone in placements. The Companies HPE, Celebal, Amazon, EY, InfoEdge, BillDesk have already set the benchmark high by contributing to the achievement of the record number of students grabbing an average package of 7.33 LPA. Many of the students have been offered a whopping package of 17 LPA by Amazon, HPE, Cloudera, InfoEdge, Cloud Mentor, BillDesk, EY.

The students have performed exceptionally well in the 1^st Phase of Placements 2023 and captivated the companies with their skills and grabbed astounding offers from them.

As we come to an end of the 1^st phase of placements 2023, we can say that the formidable placement core team of the Inset, Outset and the Newset worked really hard from the very beginning of the placement drive, and it is because of them that we successfully continue to make a difference.

The numbers are proven remarkable because of your valuable efforts, the efficient design and delivery of the placement program and the efforts of the TPO team. This collective result in itself sets a great example of teamwork. Key Differentiators for the Academic Year 2023 (Phase-1)

• 543 Placements offers have been rolled out of Placements till 27th September'22 for Graduates of batch 2023.
• 543 JECRCians were offered an average package of 7.33 LPA.

Dream Recruiters in Phase one of Placements

JECRC Foundation released the data of the first phase of placements for batch 2022. Amazon offered packages of 44 lakhs, 39 companies coming in the second phase.

In recent years, Jaipur has established its own identity in terms of quality education. Now the students of educational institutions here are becoming the choice of multinational companies. Companies that have so far turned to institutes like IIT-NIT for campus placement are now recognizing the talent of the students of Jaipur and offering them lucrative jobs.

JECRC Foundation has made a grand start to the new placement for batch 2022. According to the released data from the first phase by the foundation, so far 847 students have got job offers with a salary hike of 40 percent compared to last year. A package of 7 lakh has been offered to more than 140 students and a package of 5 lakh per annum has been offered to more than 360 students.

World's top multinational companies included in Fortune-500; Companies like HPE, Deloitte, Infosys, LTI, Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture and Cloudera, Infoedge, ZS Associates have offered much better packages this time to JECRC students. It is to be informed that at present the campus placement drive is going on in JECRC and more than 39 MNCs are joining in the second phase.

Prajwal Gidwani, one of the students who have been offered a package of INR 44 lakh, attributed his success to the Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) and practical classes. Prajwal said, “It is because of CRT and practical training conducted throughout the course that I and other students have been able to get Amazon offers of 44 lakhs per annum.” 

A surge in the number of female selections – JECRC girl students has also got great offers this season. Top companies have offered excellent salaries to about 70 percent of the Female Candidates. Krati Mitra, a student who got a package of 23 lakhs from Cloudera, said that JECRC works hard on its students. As a result of that, the students here get jobs in big companies at good salaries. 

Ramesh Rawat, Head, Training and Placement Cell, said that the growing faith in JECRC among the students has inspired us to work harder as an institution. After the Covid-19 phase, companies are now offering jobs to students by taking interviews in virtual mode as well. This has given our students more opportunities to showcase their talents. The credit for this success goes to the pre-placement training and hard work of the students. These successes of JECRCians will continue to inspire the existing students.

JECRC has rolled out its Phase-3 of placement season 2020-2021, where it has again benchmarked it with a record of more than 1800 placements and become the only Institution across the entire state to make and break such records developing a character for success. Getting it accomplished, in these tough times when economic slowdown triggered by the COVID-19 outbreak and several companies pulling back their job offers but this year, in Phase-3 of placement season, a total of 1882 students of JECRC Foundation got offer letters from 76 companies. JECRC University: 75 Days, 72 Companies, 1451 Placements

Jaipur, India’s official “Pink City” has been traditionally known for its marvelous vintage architecture, royal history, and delectable food recipes. It is one of the most popular places to visit among the tourists. But, over the years, this city has undergone transformations that are extending its reputation from that of a holiday destination. 

Jaipur is pushing its boundaries and has now become one of the hottest destinations for Multi-National Companies to hire fresh talent from. This evolution, as the new placement hub of India, is the outcome of the colossal leap in its higher education set up. It has become home to some of the most progressive universities and colleges of higher education in this country. Greater emphasis on increased industry-academia interface, industry-supported training, curriculums on updated technologies and rigorous pre-placement training that focuses equally upon the interpersonal skills of the students has exponentially enhanced the footfall of giant companies in these campuses for recruitments.

As a result of all this, one name that has become synonymous with the sphere of higher education in Rajasthan is that of JECRC Foundation. Over the last two decades of its existence, the Foundation, through its persistent pursuit for excellence has steadily but surely set up the premise for the unbelievable numbers it has been able to amass in its campus placement drives. This year as well, in just the first 75 days of placement season, a total of 1451 students of JECRC Foundation got offer letters from 72 companies like Deloitte, E&Y, Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, MTX, Mindtree, Birlasoft, Metacube, BYJU’s, Pinnacle & ZS Associates through exclusive campus drives organised by JECRC Foundation. These students belong to the entire spectrum of traits offered at JECRC Foundation viz. Engineering, Journalism, Design, Law, Humanities, Hospitality, Sciences & Management. 

This feat is unprecedented not just in the history of the JECRC Foundation but is also unrivaled among similar groups in the region. Testimony to it is the fact that the Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sh. Ashok Gehlot took cognizance of this achievement and invited the leadership team of JECRC to congratulate and commend them on this triumph. He deeply appreciated the efforts put in by the entire team and reverberated the thought that such accomplishments go a long way in strongly establishing Rajasthan as the powerhouse of talent in India. He was also delighted to know that, this year, not just the number of selections have increased but also the average offered package saw a leap of 20% and reached a figure of 4.5 lacs per annum.

Vice-Chairman, JECRC Foundation, Shri. Amit Agrawal highlighted that one of the pivotal factors that contributed to this winning streak is a focused awareness of the changing paradigms of the core sector recruitments. The increased penetration of IT sector companies in projects related to Construction, Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing has led to inflation in selections of Electrical, Mechanical & Civil engineering students in software companies. He further added that as the focal point of technology shifts to IoT, Data Sciences & Artificial Intelligence, the coming years will see an eruption in job opportunities in these sectors. Accordingly, JECRC has begun, training its students on these skills under its “Teaching beyond Curriculum” initiative. 

Director, JECRC Foundation, Shri. Arpit Agrawal pointed out that a new observable trend in the latest hiring patterns of software companies is the advent of “Competition Based Hiring” wherein the company conducts a nationwide technical proficiency test and hires candidates based on its result. The foundation has quickly adapted to this scenario and has been consistently providing the highest number of Microsoft Student Partners and TCS Codevita selections. He also mentioned that the turning point in the placement figures came with the introduction of a 200 hour rigorous “Campus Recruitment Training” program, carefully devised to cater to the latest selection criteria of various companies.

The foundation has also been foremost in motivating its students to join the armed forces. A significant number of their students are currently serving the nation in the army, air force and navy.

JECRC celebrates 1000+ Placement Stories

A few years of fun-filled life coupled with intensive education, are all that takes one to kick-start their career by the end of college. In the present-day scenario, hard-work, efforts, and talent play a significant role in succeeding. With all this, the students of JECRC had got more than 1000 placement in 44 days with seventeen companies making history in Rajasthan by becoming first academic Institutions.

JECRC has undertaken the challenge of molding students of different backgrounds by providing them High Standard Professional Education Engineering Skills, Soft Skills, and Managerial Skills. These skills improve the chances of a student’s employability and enable them to be better than the students passing out from other Engineering Colleges in Jaipur and across India.

• About Phase I: In the first phase, Suraj Kumar grabbing a whopping package of 41 Lacs at Microsoft. This phase has witnessed an unprecedented start with 17 diversified companies visiting the institute with a significant increase in the average package offered, whereas more than 150 students were offered a package of over 5 lakhs per year.
• About CRT (Campus Recruitment Training): CRT of JECRC University team emphasizes on dedicated Career Development of the students, works towards supporting and guiding them on all aspects of job search. They organize personalized career advising sessions and work closely with the students to define their career paths and help them achieve their goals. The Campus has specialists/mentors, available to assist students with any query about their careers. The objective is not to just provide employment opportunities to the students but also to create employers and entrepreneurs. The guidance was also provided to students who were interested in higher education.

For the year 2019 batch, various top-notch companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, ZS, Mindtree, Jaro Education, Pinnacle, BYJU'S and more, visited the JECRC campus to offer jobs to the students from B.Tech, B.Sc, and BCA program. The placement team had targeted giving not only placement but quality placement to all the students. This is the beginning for JECRC, all other juniors are ready to break the records of their seniors making a history of placements in India.
