You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

As I belong to that family where most of the family members are in the medical education sector so this was one of the main reasons to choose this line. I learnt a lot of things that help me to motivate myself to enter this area. Apart from that I always believe that education is the only weapon which can mould the nation in a better way. 

What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute/dept. which will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?

The Paramedical Department is currently running phd, M.Sc, B.Sc and Diploma certificate courses. Laboratories are well equipped with high quality Machines equipment, and chemicals as per the syllabus and today’s scenario. 

Sometimes students visit hospitals and medical camps also.

What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

With the pandemic spreading, we realized that there is a need for more and more skilled and qualified paramedics to strengthen the backbone of the healthcare industry. The job opportunities for paramedical professionals are increasing day by day not only in India but also abroad. Paramedics, as we know, help doctors to reach an accurate diagnosis of a disease to allow for the best possible treatment.

What will you say are the “best practices” in the course you’re offering?

The department of paramedical offers:

What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

As the students belong to different sections of society and community having different languages and culture so analyzing and incorporating all things relevant to student centric as well as future perspective was big task.

What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program?

Students work on various projects like- patient risk identification, clinical trial research, Robotic surgery, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

After completing the basic course in any paramedical stream, you can work as a lecturer in nursing homes, hospitals, clinics and health departments as well as in colleges and universities. Apart from this, you can also open your own laboratories /clinics.Our students work in various hospitals and healthcare centres. So students get better chances to explore themselves.
