"Sense of belongingness, happiness and satisfaction of building a good society while I teach students keeps me connected"
When I teach, I feel a very deep sense of connection with the young minds and their quest for learning and their creative energy inspires me to learn continually. Also, knowledge grows when shared and by educating youth and students I can contribute in building a humane society. All these factors together keep me associated with the education sector. And my experience with the Institute so far is quite wonderful as everyone here is very supportive.
Being the Training and Placement Officer of MRSC what are your responsibilities towards the students?
"To manage placement activities and maintain good relations with industry partners"
My primary role is to manage and coordinate placement related activities, arrange campus placements, public relations and soft-skills training to bridge the gap between academic and industry expectations. In addition to this, I need to maintain constant interaction with top industry managers (both at Functional and HR level) in order to enhance our relations and upgrade MOU’s (Memorandum of Understanding) and lastly to understand their demands from our students. For this a Placement Module is prepared which guides our students about the opportunities in various sectors and relevant seminars, training programs, grooming sessions and certified skill enhancement programs offered by the Institute. Also reviewing students' performance and giving them feedback about their performance so that they can work on their weak areas are my other few accountabilities.
