What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Bridging the gap between institutions and the industries”

I started my career with a humble start from the industrial sector. I worked in various types of industries at different levels. I had rich industrial experience and knew what the industries demand from newcomers and where the newcomers are lagging. It forced me to enter the education sector to share my knowledge so that the students

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Consistency has always been the key to effective leadership”

Everyone has a personal and unique leadership style because if you lead on the basis of someone else’s philosophy, you’ll be less effective. I always make decisions based on core Hods, perspectives, and values. I don’t want to be inconsistent because it will reflect on my student’s and institution’s genuine beliefs and values. I try to prove myself as an excellent teacher and as one of the best of all my staff. I always set high standards of discipline, commitment, and involvement in work patterns. I try to inspire all my colleagues towards the achievement of the goals of the organization and lead them from the forefront. I always work with the staff at the ground level to understand the problems and concerns of all the colleagues and take care of their requirements.

In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“Bringing together the best aspects of practical and theoretical knowledge”

Indian education focuses more on theory rather than practical. Together we all will have to work hard to bring change in the education system. To overcome this gap we allow creativity to our students. We focus more on practical based learning. We take education as a learning process. We not only emphasize on studies but keep room for extracurricular activities in our education system.

Any insights into how your Institute could be more welcoming to students of different races, religions, states, or economic backgrounds?

“Making education affordable for every deserving individual”

Even though our institute is a Muslim minority recognized institute, we always keep our arms and heart open for all. To give chance to the most deserving and underprivileged section of students, we have kept our fee very minimal. The fee in our college is almost least as compared to all private engineering colleges in Maharashtra State.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institute and the students are?

“Working in the best interests of the students and the upper management”

I think one of the most important responsibilities is the regulation of academic and general administration and monitoring the systems, policies, procedures of the institution. The smooth functioning of the institution is also an important factor to fulfill the expectations of the government monitoring bodies such as the All India Council for Technical Education, Department of Technical Education, and the University. Along with the expectations of the top management, students, and their parents also need to be satisfied with the institution’s functioning and decision making.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Focus on self-awareness and self-presentation”

Employability is all about positive self-belief in pursuit of new challenges that lead you to a life-long learning experience. Education plays a pivotal role in an individual's life when it comes to being employable as it gives them the ability to understand the situation and make a better choice. The majority of graduates in India lack the desired skills or expertise. There exists a wide gap between the skills of fresh graduates and the needs of organizations. Candidates always stress academic credentials, aptitude, communication, and interpersonal skills but the employer also looks for the X-factor, zeal for learning, positive attitude, commitment, and understanding of upcoming challenges. They need to become an explorer and sharpen their skills, and always keep a goal driven life.
