As part of its efforts in providing the maximum exposure to the students, the Armed Force Motivational Cell of Parul University regularly hosts numerous personalities who have dedicatedly served the nation in the armed forces. Through such personalities, the Cell has been able to effectively inspire many young minds towards a path of National service. Different decorated army personnel have graced the University campus where they have delivered numerous talk sessions with the University’s students. Through such interactions, students are able to acquire first hand experiences from the people who have been serving the Nation. A Unique Exposure to the NCC

The NCC is one of the prominent institutions which has been providing the maximum exposure to every student all throughout their tenure in the University. Students who have learnt to serve in the NCC, have been on the top of the preferential list for serving in the Indian Army. From the date of the inception of the Cell, over 100 students of the University have been selected as part of the NCC in the Vadodara district. Such a growing interest in the students, comes as a result of the countless platforms of motivation which have been created by Parul University, hosting notable personalities from the armed forces, air force and navy officers, to inspire the students towards a path of national service. Joining the NCC marks as the foundational step towards a lifetime journey in the armed forces or in the general service of society. In addition to their academic activities, the students have been actively participating in several NCC training and grooming camps, which have been vital in developing their discipline, knowledge, ethics and human values.  

An exposure to participate in the National Republic Day Parade

The Republic Day Camp is a highly esteemed annual parade which is held at the Garrison Parade Ground in New Delhi. For participation in this parade, notable NCC cadets are selected from across the States and Union Territories representing the rich diversities of India. In addition to the quality academics, Parul University’s students have been expressing their quality training by engaging with the National Cadet Corps on various levels and they have been excelling all throughout these initiatives. Cadet Cpl Dheeraj Singh, an NCC Cadet who is under NO.1 Air Squadron NCC and a third year student of Computer Science Engineering at Parul University, was chosen as Best Cadet in the Gujarat Directorate, and he was selected to be a representative in the 2021 Republic Day Camp where he got the opportunity to march in the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
