How does the curriculum of MNLU Mumbai Ensure the best practice of the industry?
“We ensure that our students are abreast to current industry standards”
The National Law School system was created as there was a visible gap between teaching and practice. These premier institutions filled this gap wherein a balance was achieved between the theory and the trade traits. Within the curriculum prescribed by the Bar Council of India, there is enough flexibility and autonomy to make the curriculum market relevant. Further, we are not just providing Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees, but many vivid and exciting areas of laws have evolved over the time for which demand is there. Further, experts from the industry, bar, and bench are a regular feature that helps students polish themselves up to the market expectations.
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the college and the students are?
“The responsibility is to provide best exposure to the students”
I believe that my roles and responsibilities towards my University and my students are not alienated, but they are unison. The commitment is to make the environment of learning inclusive, conducive, and pleasant. Moreover, the responsibility is to provide the best exposure to the students - be it for academics or overall development. Within this, the most significant aim is to keep the ship sailing - that the University grows to prepare for the future.
