Hands-on exposure or real-world confrontation provides engineering students with on-the-job experience. This helps them to decide whether their skills and industry are a good match” Prof. N.Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad said.

He inaugurated a one-day interactive session with industry experts to provide industrial training for students on July 11. He promised to provide all the infrastructural facilities at GITAM and keep them open for all time. Prof. Siva Prasad advised the students to make use of this opportunity to gain real-time knowledge.

GITAM Pro VC advises students to ‘Get Hands-on Experience’

The main aim of this program is to apply the engineering knowledge taught in the lecture rooms in real industrial situations, to expose the student to the engineers' responsibilities and principles, etc. Earlier, GITAM Innovation Center Coordinator Dr. P. Trinatha Rao stressed the importance of the industrial training and listed out the last 2-3 years’ innovative students’ projects.
