What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Passion to share knowledge with the youth of our country”

The luxury knowledge-sharing space is ever-evolving, especially in India, luxury education has periodically changed over the last few years. This constant evolution and engagement with the youth of our country are what keep me connected to the education sector. Education is all about the next, tomorrow, the future and this is what is exciting about this sector.

Being the Director of this institute what is your philosophy of leadership?

“Learn from others and work for the growth of everyone”

A leader learns from others and believes in open dialogue. In my professional experiences so far, I have only believed in being observant and absorbent. Observe others, learn from their mistakes, and absorb their positivity. Wherever necessary I believe in innovation and disruption. Rigidity is a no-no as a leader, one must be open to change and evolution.

How does the curriculum of your institute align with the best practices of the industry?

“Industry professionals and highly qualified faculty’s contribution helps achieve this goal”

The biggest differentiating factor with the MGLuxM program at SP Jain is the industry faculty that we bring on board. Apart from our own top-class faculty pool, SP Jain is proud to have strong ties with the luxury network both India and Globally which act as benefactors when it comes to delivering the best education to students. Our focus is always to ensure that the knowledge provided to students is up-to-date. Hence, usage of textbooks is the bare minimum; rather we follow more of what’s new and happening in the market via documentaries, case studies and example led teaching.

What do you see as SP Jain School of Global Management's greatest strengths?

“Education we provide, and our students are our main pillars of strength”

SP Jain School of Global Management is a Future driven, Quality focused school providing a teaching environment that is highly interactive and activity-based, using modern pedagogy, tools and infrastructure. Student Diversity at our campuses adds to peer-to-peer learning.

What are some of the biggest challenges for both higher education in general and for SP Jain specifically?

“Switching from the online mode of learning and maintaining best quality of education”

One of the latest adaptations in the education industry has been the offline to online delivery model. The biggest challenge here is to ensure that quality is maintained and in fact with time even much more enhanced in the online model as online seems to be a constant for the foreseeable future in education delivery systems. SP Jain is way ahead of its time through various digitally-focused engaged platforms created exclusively for its students like ELO, PLO, etc.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?

“Through strong communication with students and sessions by industry experts”

At SP Jain we are completely student-driven. Being approachable and transparent with our student and industry network is what keeps us going. Apart from this, we are always quick in engagements with our student and alumni network. Some small practices that we usually follow are inviting a lot of industry leaders and our alumni to come and engage with students outside of their regular learning environment which helps create an environment that is both helpful and fruitful for our youth.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Be real and never stop learning new things”

Be the best version of yourself and keep upgrading your skill level at least every couple of years. But, most importantly, stay original.
