Dr.Y.Padmanabha Reddy is a Principal of Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. He did his graduation, post-graduation, and doctorate of philosophy from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh., India. He has served in various positions like President of JNT University affiliated Pharmacy Principals Association, Panel Inspector for Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Member of Expert Committee for UGC, and Board of Studies in Pharmacy. He made an active contribution to the field of pharmaceutical and health sciences. Moreover, he was involved in organizing several educational activities through academic and research exchange programs, national meetings, and conferences in India. Dr. YP Reddy has received nearly 23 Lakhs worth of research grants from agencies like AICTE, and UGC.

It is necessary to transform and sustain quality higher education. Leaders in higher education need experience in developing budgets, overseeing endowments, and creating financial plans. The concept of collaborative leadership in higher education emphasizes various internal and external stakeholders. Leadership training and mentoring programs enable leaders in higher education to empower faculty. They must be an effective communicator and strive to build a culture where staff and faculty are encouraged to use data. The leaders in higher education are aware of the needs of diverse groups and understand how those needs intersect. This helps leaders provide the appropriate support and make the necessary improvements to an institution’s efforts.

When combined with technology like smart contact lenses use augmented reality (AR). 


What do you suggest to upcoming aspiring students in RIPER?

The digital generation is affectionately called the millennials. Technology is intimately embedded in our lives and prefers a broad spectrum of learning strategies. I suggest students learn through Research-based methods and application-based case studies. The goal of present generation facilitators is to connect the e-learning environment to performance context and convince them of relevance.
