What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
“Progressing younger generation and self in a beautiful way”
My passion for teaching, along with the beautiful work environment that cease to exist and provide me with the chance that I’ve got to dwell deep into the core area of my subject which I don’t think I could find in any of the careers, stick me to this noble profession. Moreover, nurturing young minds and preparing them to be responsible citizens are the major factors that anchored me in this career. After these many years when I find my students working for different corporate sectors and some follow my path to be a teacher, I think I’m successful as a teacher and this is how I share a beautiful connection with the education sector.
What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your college?
“Encouragement and support to develop holistically”
Imparting practical experience and making the students learn through it is what we believe in. Besides that, the skills that are required to exist in the outside world are imparted here in our college well in advance. Not only we’re up to the necessary skills but also, we make students participate in many competitions which eventually brings out creativity from the minds of the students. Almost all the aspects are there in our college for a student to explore and flourish, be it sports, or extracurriculars. In summing up, students from our college don’t just confine themselves to the subjects, but also flourish in the areas that they really like to explore.

What do you see as St. Joseph College’s greatest strengths?
“Great leadership and enriched learner focus”
The primary strength that I think pertaining to our college is our principal Showrilu Reddy, who took all the pain of trying to establish the dignity, discipline, sovereignty and decency of the institution, provided with the administration process of the college. Later, every one of us walked on the way that she has paved and now we are one of the leading institutions in our state. The main asset according to me is maintaining the quality of education. We don’t let any of the students down pertaining to the current market scenario. We keep updating ourselves according to the changes in the market. Besides that, we prepare our students mentally for the upcoming changes that will happen in the future. Combining all the above aspects, I could say those are the strengths that make us stand unique when compared in par with the rest of the colleges.
How do you enhance the skills of the students and expose them to real-world challenges?
“Multiple skill enhancement opportunities and awareness programs”
Be it the technical skills, or soft skills, and entrepreneurial skills, we’re trying to enhance in all the ways that we could to make students resilient against real-world challenges. We also conduct sessions on coding, C++, JAVA languages to compete with the market all the time. We’ve excellent faculty who could deliver whatever the market orders. Besides imparting technical skills, we also have opened an Innovation & Entrepreneurial Cell which encourages the budding entrepreneurs to enter the market and withstand the current scenario. Besides that, we also have the women empowerment cell, which encourages women to become independent in their lives. Our college is familiar with extracurricular activities as well, we’re well versed in sports. Every year, our college students keep participating in them and bag prizes, thus encouraging others also.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?
“Learn more, achieve more”
All I want to suggest to the youth is not to dwell with the technology much by forfeiting the roots. That’s not at all suggestible. And to all young and aspiring individuals, I’d be suggesting to them to look for entrepreneurship which eventually would make them contribute to society even.
