Dr. Mukesh Gupta is a Dean in School of Pharmacy at Lords University. He did Master in Pharmacy from Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University, Udaipur and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Bhagwant University, Ajmer. He has 17 years of teaching experience including 10 years experience in PG teaching and research. He is a life member of various pharmaceutical professional bodies like APTI, IPGA and IPA. Dr. Mukesh Gupta guided several students and PhD scholars. and published manuscripts in International Journals. He received awards for best teacher award, best oral presentation award and more.

What is your leadership philosophy?

My belief is that a leader values his/her vision and directs their team. Discussion and collaboration are true leadership facilitates. A leader sets goals and provides various opportunities for colleagues. I like to encourage and support my staff through leadership skills. 

What are your roles and responsibilities?

“To support campus mission and guide each member on campus”

One of my roles is to represent the department and define its public image. I ensure that financial resources are used in the correct way on campus. My duty is to guide each individual on campus and support our education system. All these ensure the overall development of the campus. 

What goals do you have in your mind for the campus in the next few years?

“Improve the course demand, impart new courses and make the best education accessible for everyone”

We analyze our recent courses and look at the current demand in society. Our campus decided to introduce new courses in upcoming years for students. On the other hand, we try to improve course demand and make an accessible education for each pupil.

Great learning success results from the blended learning concept. We deliver the best results through highly qualified faculties and a good academic environment. Faculties get development programs several times a year. Students get ideas about subjects with different teaching approaches. 

What approach do you have for the placement of students at Lords University?

“Provide training and industry visits for students' improvement in placements”

Our campus starts training from the first day of admission and it makes the students ready for the industry. They attain a behavioral learning process with several industry sessions and visits. It improves their placement chances at year-end.
