What are some plans that you are currently or will be designing for students?

“Introduce flip-classroom method, projects, powerpoint presentations and more for pupils”

As we are an industry-integrated institution, we always give students a lot of projects in each subject for their hands-on practice. As part of this approach, we have introduced the flip-classroom method which means giving the students more projects each session in every subject. It assists in getting their portfolio submitted at the end of each semester. Their theory questions and topics will be given to them as PowerPoint presentations, videos and notes respectively. This will allow them to develop themselves to be industry ready at the end of their course.

We ensure to give our students the best education or experience and let them shine in their career.

How does your college prepare students for placements?

“Provide chances from MNCs and update students' skills on campus”

Our college has a unique community called “Alchemy” exclusively structured to make the students placement ready. In this Alchemy, we provide students opportunities in working with top directors in movies and reality shows. We are also design-oriented MNC companies. Based on their skills and interest, they will be put into groups or trained with live shoots and projects to prepare them to create their own best portfolio.

What are the strengths of Clusters Media College?

“Faculties, industry connected programs and live projects are our greatest strengths”

We have so many visiting faculty that have very good industry experience like we have a national award winning editor here to teach the students. Our faculty is very well versed in what they do. We also have a very good industry connect program that students learn a lot by being directly involved in live projects. Our college timings are from 9AM to 1:30PM. This gives students flexibility and time to focus on what they want. They can stay at college and dedicate themselves to some projects or do some internships or part time jobs to gain real world experience.

What advice would you give to students?

“Build a portfolio, focus on projects and get real world experience”

Students have to be unique in their own ways. They should experiment and find out what interests them and what they want to do in life. You should focus on that goal and build a portfolio around that. Getting good marks is not enough. Students should focus on doing projects and getting real world experience related to their field.
